What are we looking for?

•          Any roof-topped building

•          that has a flat underground with the size of a basketball field,

•          lightning

•          running water

•          and toilets may do.

So if you know a place within the area of 15km around Menen where we can practice, let us know!

FRESH MEAT 11th of march

FRESH MEAT  11th of MARCH

 Are you ready to rock?

Roller derby is a intensive women’s contact sport on roller skates. You need to be well prepared before going for your first scrimmage-experience.

Blood, sweat & tears it may cost you to learn the basic skills. But to be proper skater it is important to learn how to fall safely, hit hard, block defencively but most of all become one with your skates!

 Fresh meat?

That is who we call the newbies ( new recruits) in roller derby. Indeed roller derby has its own vocabulary (not yet a dictionnairy!).  In addition every member carries its own derby-name such as rock a wheely, martacus, lolly chop, wham bam wonderjam, … .

But there is must more to learn about roller derby!!!

So who can become a bad bunny roller-girl?

Anyone with the age of 18 (or more) and who has the guts to become a derby girl, will become a derby girl. No matter your physical capacity, your height, strenght or roller skate experience, we’ll find you a good spot in our team!!!

We start from scratch and teach everyone everything you need to learn to become a Bad Bunny.

What gear do you need?

  •  quads
  • helmet
  • knee pads
  • elbow pads
  • wrist pads
  • mouth guard

NOTE: during you’re first training weeks you can rent gear from the team at a       small fee. Bring your own old skates down from the attic if you have any because we   can’t guarantee we have you size available.

What do we ask in return?

To become a bad bunny you must commit to the weekly  training sessions (thuesday from 7.30 till 9.30pm and thursday from 7pm till 9pm)

A fee of 65€ is charged which includes location rental, insurance, first aid, merchandise & team events
